Umar Saif took to facebook saying:
As the Corona virus further slows down the economy in Pakistan, factory workers, labour and daily wagers will get impacted most.
The government can handle this by expanding the mandate of Ehsaas (BISP) program and connecting it with provincial databases maintained by industries dept, labour dept and social protection departments. Extend monthly cash transfers to factory workers, labour, and daily wagers. All the systems are already in place — someone needs to connect them and make this happen.
