The Cupertino based tech giant Apple is going to be donating millions of masks to health workers in the US and Europe amid the coronavirus pandemic according to the company’s CEO Tim Cook.
Tim Cook took to Twitter saying:
Our teams at Apple have been working to help source supplies for healthcare providers fighting COVID-19. We’re donating millions of masks for health professionals in the US and Europe. To every one of the heroes on the front lines, we thank you.

Apple also recently closed all physical retail locations worldwide except greater China to try and help control the spread of the novel coronavirus.
The company has also donated $15 million during this COVID-19 outbreak as mentioned on their website.
Due to production shutting down, Apple limited the purchase of the new iPad Pro models and iPhones as well however since people are going to be staying home due to lockdowns in many countries around the world, Apple has lifted the limitations on orders outside of China.

The coronavirus pandemic has infected more than 415,000 people and taken the lives of over 18,500 globally and the number of cases keep rising rapidly with thousands of cases around the world being reported every few hours.
