The former Prime Minister and Pakistan Muslim League N (PMLN) leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has been facing many corruption charges and now a non bailable arrest warrant has been issued for the former premier.
The non-bailable arrest warrant has been issued by an accountability court in Karachi after The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) filed a new reference against Shahid Khaqan Abbasi for illegal appointment of Pakistan State Oil Managing Director (MD).

Abbasi who is released on bail by accountability court in Islamabad in the Liquefied Natural Gas case which is ongoing has been accused of causing damage worth Rs. 138 million to the national exchequer along with other suspects.
A non bailable arrest warrant has also been issued for the former petroleum secretary Arshad Mira by the accountability court.
