The government has intensified the lockdown across provinces as the total number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan reach 1,578 and the new cases reported on Sunday.
Two new deaths in Sindh bring the total number of COVID-19 related deaths in Pakistan to 16 while the total for the province reaches three with the two latest casualties being a 83 and 70 year old patient.
Punjab currently has the most number of coronavirus cases in the country at 571 and the highest number of deaths along with Khyber Pakthunkhwa at five each.

Global Update
The total number of COVID-19 cases globally have crossed 711,000 with the number of deaths crossing 33,500 with the United States having the most number of cases of any country in the world while Italy has seen the worst number of casualties.
The total number of coronavirus cases in the United States are 135,899 while the death toll in the country is reported to be 2,390 and both these numbers keep rising rapidly with there being more than 12,000 cases and around 200 deaths in the last 24 hours.
Italy however has the highest number of COVID-19 related deaths with the number currently at 10,779 while this keeps rising rapidly and there have been more than 800 deaths in the last 24 hours in the country.
Spain stands at number two with the most casualties at 6,606 and same like Italy, the number is rising rapidly with almost 650 deaths in a single day.
