The coronavirus outbreak is getting worse with more and more cases emerging everyday in Pakistan. The Government of KP has issued a notification that all KP schools will remain closed till 31 May 2020 re-opening on 1 June 2020.
The notification that was issued on 29 March 2020 read:
The Provincial Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is pleased to order that school all schools shall remain remain closed till 31st May, 2020. This period of closure shall be treated as advance summer vacations.
According to the notification all board examinations have also been postponed along with all internal exams and assessments until 31st May and till commence once schools re-open.
The notification read:
Board examinations or any other internal exams/assessments in schools shall be postponed till 31st May 2020.

This decision is being taken after the number of coronavirus cases have surged in Pakistan crossing the 1500 mark and the number of casualties is also increasing.
A few days ago, the Federal Government also ordered that all schools in the country will remain closed till 31 May 2020 although KP issued its official notification on 29 March 2020 a few days after the announcement by the Federal Government.
