The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo will be debuting the Oppo Reno Ace 2 5G on 13 April according to the company’s Vice President Brian Shen who revealed the news on the Chinese social media platform Weibo today.
The Oppo Reno Ace 2 5G will be the company’s next flagship phone and it has the specs to go with it the name featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC together with a 65W fast charging.
According to China’s TENA listing which shows almost all basic specs for the phone, the Oppo Reno Ace 2 5G will reportedly have a 6.5 inches FHD+ AMOLED display with a hole punch for the front selfie camera. That’s not all as the phone is expected to come with a 120Hz refresh rate which is a step up from the previous model that had a 90Hz display. Although this is not yet confirmed.

In the camera department. the Oppo Reno Ace 2 5G is said to have a 16MP selfie shooter on the front with a hole punch cut out and a quad camera set up on the back that includes a 48MP main sensor which is becoming the new standard these days together with an 8MP ultra wide and two 2MP sensors although its not yet known what type of sensors they’re gonna be but we can expect one of them to be a depth sensor.
All of this will be powered by a 4000mAh battery with charging speeds capable of up to 65W and up to 40W with wireless charging.
Although these are all expected specs at this point except the Snapdragon 865 SoC and the 65W charging which has been revealed by the company. So other specs could be different on the debut of the phone.
