KARACHI: Sindh government has ordered all schools to grant concession including private schools fees to be cut by 20% for the months of April and May 2020 to provide relief to parents during the coronavirus crises.
The notification issued by the Directorate of Inspection and Registration of Private Institutions Sindh issued states:
It has been decided that it is mandatory for every school to grant concession at least 20% in the tuition fee of students for the months of April and May, 2020 in order to ultimately provide financial relief to the parents/ guardians due to lockdown in the current pandemic
Contact information has also been provided for parents to launch complaints regarding any school which does not comply with these orders with the notification stating:
In case parents have any complaint regarding non compliance of the above directives, They may lodge / register their complaints on the following number of the complaint cell established,
Furthermore, the orders make it clear that all teachers and other staff of privately managed schools are to be paid on time during the lockdown other wise teachers and staff may also launch their complaints on the following numbers.

Punjab government also gave same directives earlier this week for private schools fees to be cut by 20% and teachers to be paid on time.
