ISLAMABAD: ICT Administration lifts the ban on OPDs with an immediate effect.
The ban was imposed on the people visiting hospital’s out patient departments to control the spread of the coronavirus in the capital on March 24.
According to the notice issued on April 9, the ban is being lifted considering the difficulties the general public and patients face during the closure of the OPDs.
However, the hospital management are directed to strictly follow and abide by the notified SOP dated 24.3.2020. The hospital management is also required to follow all other instructions issued subsequently from time to time.
The hospital management is also instructed through the notification to take compulsory precautions, restrictions, and directions for social distancing.
Further, the OPDs will be required to ensure compliance with all the guidelines provided for disinfection, sensitization, and hygiene in the OPDs.
