In his tweet Malik Riaz said:
With reference to news of corona patients identified in Bahria Town Lahore, I want to make this part of the record that these patients were identified after BT sponsored their tests from Shaukat Khanum hospital. Expenses of these tests are way above reach of general public costing around 8 to 9K per test.Bahria Town on its part making sure to facilitate as many people as possible for this test including places to quarantine and state of the art health facilities in our hospitals all over Pakistan.
Malik Riaz further tweeted that Bahira Town was doing its part to help and facilitate as many people as possible saying:
We’re playing our part without unwarranted hype and panic. This step is part of our welfare efforts for people endangered during this pandemic. Instead of framing bahria Town for every possible excuse, it’s time to stand together at face of this adversity.
A video about Bahria Town Lahore being sealed was also posted by senior journalist Sabir Shah on YouTube who reported the incident in detail.
According to Sabir Shah, the government and especially Prime Minister Imran Khan should take notice and put a curfew in the country to get a control on the situation and curb the spread of coronavirus.
