LAHORE: Defence Housing Authority (DHA) and Bhatta Chowk in Lahore has been sealed after emergence of multiple coronavirus cases in the vicinity.
According to our sources, DHA Sector B near Main Boulevard has been sealed and cordoned off with barricades put in place with no entry and exit being allowed and DHA Sector P and Bhatta Chowk has also been sealed by authorities which is adjacent to Ghazi Road heading towards New Airport road.
Bhatta Chowk residents have also reported that the area has been sealed and marked as Red Zone after multiple new coronavirus cases were detected in the area and no entry and exit is being allowed in the residential zones along Bhatta Chowk. Barricades and barbed wires have been set up along residential streets to keep anyone from leaving or entering.

Earlier reports stated that Bahira Town Lahore was sealed after 60 cases emerged mostly involving their staff and Malik Riaz himself tweeted that Bahria Town management were handling the situation and taking care of the medical bills related to testing and treatment of the affected.
Similar steps have also been taken in Islamabad where the most recent incident involves Taramri Chowk being sealed after multiple coronavirus cases being detected.

Earlier Shahzad Town and Bara Kahu were also sealed however after testing and quarantining those areas have been opened for public.
