The total number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan have surged to 7,404 with almost 400 cases being reported on Friday along with four deaths bringing the national death toll due to COVID-19 to 137.
Two deaths were reported earlier in the day in Sindh by Senator Murtaza Wahab bringing the the total death toll of the province to 47.
Another two deaths were just reported in Punjab by Chief Minister Usman Buzdar in his daily update on Twitter bringing the total death count of the province up to 37.

Global Update
The total number of coronavirus cases globally have surged past 2.2 million along with over 152,000 deaths and the United States has the most number of these cases and the highest death toll.
The United States has over 700,000 coronavirus cases which make up more than 30 percent of the global cases along with 35,995 fatalities making up over 23 percent of the global death toll.
Spain has the second highest number of over 188,000 coronavirus cases along with the third highest death toll with 19,613 fatalities. The country has seen a significant improvement in the daily number of cases and deaths due to coronavirus.
Italy has the third highest number of over 172,000 coronavirus cases and 22,745 fatalities which is the second highest death toll. Italy has also seen an improvement in the daily numbers compared to a few weeks ago when the outbreak was at its peak in the country.
There have been a significant increase in the number of daily cases as well as fatalities in France and the number of coronavirus cases in the country are now over 147.969 and the death toll is 18,681.
The UK is another country being badly hit with the coronavirus as the pandemic reaches its peak in the country. The UK is reporting thousands of daily cases and over 800 deaths every day. The total number of coronavirus cases are over 108,500 and the death toll is 14,576.
China today revised its number claiming that there was an error in the total number that were reported earlier because of the overwhelming cases in the start of the pandemic and some medical facilities failed to report the number on time. The death was revised by 1,290 more deaths along with over 350 more confirmed cases.
