As coronavirus cases continue to mount and the number of fatalities are rising, the Government of Balochistan has extended province wide lockdown for another 15 days till 19 May, 2020 to control the coronavirus situation.
Government spokesperson Liaquat Shahwani also tweeted about the decision saying that the only solution to the problem has proven to be the isolation, social distancing and lockdown so the government decided to extend it.

Government of Balochistan has extended the lockdown under Section 144 to ensure public safety and curb the spread of the coronavirus outbreak in Pakistan.
The Home and Tribal Affairs Department of Balochistan issued a notification in this regard with specific instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for businesses and general public.
