The Peshawar High Court (PHC) has been closed from 13 May 2020 till 31 May 2020 after several employees at the court tested positive for the coronavirus according to a notification
The notification however states that two single benches will remain functional during this time and two Principal Staff Oficers shall work in rotation.
However, it is stated that officers or staff belonging to out districts as well as lady staff will be exempted from this duty. The AR Admin however will remain on duty during this time to make sure precautionary and protective measures are taken to disinfect and sanitize.

Also, principal seat staff will need to submit an affidavit declaring that neither nor any close relative or neighbors are infected with coronavirus and if they fail to do so or the affidavit turns out to be false, disciplinary action will be taken.
Any staff members reporting that they are infected with the coronavirus will immediately be quarantined and once they return to work on 1 June, they would have to produce their test report showing they have recovered.
