AFGHANISTAN: A terror attack on Afghanistan Maternity Hospital has killed babies, mothers, and nurses on Tuesday morning.
Attack on a maternity hospital in Dasht Barch in capital Kabul has claimed many innocent lives, most of the victims are mothers and newborn babies. Two newborn babies and eleven mothers and nurses were killed in the attack.
As many as fifteen others have been injured in the terror attack including a number of children.
Explosions and gunfire were reported, locals reported two blasts then gunfire. When the attack began 180 people were in the hospital. The attack started at about 10:00 local time (05:30GMT).
The international medical charity, Medicins Sans Frontieres (MSF) runs part of the hospital.
Afghanistan Hospital Attack: Babies, mothers, and nurses killed
Hundred women and children have been rescued by the Afghan special forces, reports BBC.
Afghan Interior minister Tariq Aryan called the attach a crime against humanity, he said all three assailants were killed by the special operations police.

The attackers are said to have gained access as dressed as police officers. The attackers were killed after hours long battle.
Dasht-e-Barchi 100 bed hospital is a government-run facility supported by MSF. MSF confirmed the attack through a tweet.
Dasht-e-Barchi is a home for the minority of Hazara community, which has been previously targeted by the ISIS. Thirty two people were killed and many wounded in early March attack on a political gathering.
The photos shared by the interior ministry showed two infants laying dead inside hospital. Others images showed the soldiers carrying children covered in blood stained blankets.
According to official among 100 rescued were three foreign nationals.
The Taliban has however denied their involvement in the attack through their tweeter account.
