Justice for Ghulam Mustafa: 10 year old allegedly raped and murdered

LAHORE: A 10 year old boy identified as Ghulam Mustafa was allegedly raped and murdered inside an under construction plaza in the Nawab Town area of Lahore.

Ghulam Mustafa was the son of Muhammad Anwar Hameed who belonged to Samsani village near Johar Town and according to the report, he had left home along with his cousin to go to a nearby shop but since shops were closed the minor boy went ahead to look for other open shops while his cousin returned home.

Later, when the boy failed to return home, his family began searching for the boy in around their area before finally finding him strangled and murdered in an under construction plaza.

The family alerted the police who arrived at the scene and moved the body of the boy to the morgue for autospy and an investigation has been launched into the incident.

According to police, the boy was seen with an unidentified person who took him to the under construction building where he was sexually assaulted and later strangled to death.
