LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has directed Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) to decide whether to ban PUBG in Pakistan. Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) has gained a lot of popularity in the country as the game has been easily accessible on mobile devices.
However, a petition was filed by a citizen, Faizan Maqsood against the online asking for the removal of the game from the Google Play Store. The petition said that the game had a negative impact on children and their personalities leading to violent tendencies. Furthermore, the petition stated that the PUBG also left a negative impact on the decision making skills of chidlren.

After a division bench of the Lahore High Court (LHC) headed by Justice Atir Mahmood heard the petition, PTA was directed to decide on the matter of whether to ban PUBG in Pakistan within six weeks.
If Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA) does go forward with the ban, Pakistan would not be the first country to take such action against the game as some other countries have already banned the popular online game.
Jordan is one of the countries which ban on PUBG back in 2019 after citing the game having negative effects which eventually led to the game being banned in the country.

How about banning all sorts of websites where adult videography is available. Banning a game,which is made for children will nof effect the country’s progress in any way. But if the government bans the pornography it will increase the country’s progress.
