The total number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan have surge to 45,776 while the country’s death toll has reached 986. There were 1,850 new cases reported in Pakistan on Tuesday along with 49 more fatalities.
Sindh Health and Population Welfare Department reported 19 new fatalities in their coronavirus update. This brings the provincial death toll to 299.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department reported 11 more fatalities bringing the provincial death toll to 345 in their daily coronavirus cases update.
Punjab reported 17 more fatalities from coronavirus bringing the provincial death toll to 290 according to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) in their daily coronavirus update on Twitter.
Balochistan reported no new fatalities according to their Daily Situation Report issued by the Health Department of Balochistan. Although there were a few more cases of the virus reported in the province.
Gilgit Baltistan reported also did not report any more fatalities and the regional death count stands at 4 fatalities from coronavirus. There were a few more cases reported.
Islamabad reported two more fatalities according to the Official Coronavirus Dashboard by the Government of Pakistan covid.gov.pk/stats/pakistan. This brings the death toll in the capital to 9.
