We all know that Toyota Indus Motor Company (IMC) has been planning to introduce the Toyota Altis 12th Generation in Pakistan and now according to reports, the new generation has been spotted on the road in Pakistan.
From what we know, IMC plans on launching the Toyota Altis 12th Generation in Pakistan as the company is introducing newer models to stay ahead of the competition. The current 11th Generation of Altis was launched back in 2014 and has already completed its six years in the market.
IMC also replaced the Corolla XLi and Corolla GLi variants in Pakistan with the new Toyota Yaris and this just seems like the next logical step for the company.

Now the Toyota Corolla 12th Generation was launched in Thailand in September last year and comes in a few different variants which even includes a Hybrid version. The car is available in a 1.6L engine capacity producing 125 hp and 156 Nm of torque and a larger 1.8L engine variant producing 140 hp and 177 Nm of torque.
What to expect from the Toyota Altis 12th Generation launch in Pakistan?
However, Indus Motor Company (IMC) will most likely only introduce the as as the Toyota Altis 12th Generation with a 1.8L engine since it already replaced the Corolla 1.3L and 1.6L with the Toyota Yaris and those variants have also been removed from the latest updated price list of the company.

As for the Hybrid version of the Toyota Altis 12th Generation, there is still no rumors or news on whether the company will be introducing it in Pakistan. However, as the government is now encouraging more electric vehicles to hit the market, there is no telling that Indus Motor Company (IMC) might just end up bringing it to Pakistan.
Also, IMC plans on introducing a Hybrid SUV in Pakistan this year. All of this however is still not confirmed from the company and we’ll just have to wait and see what happens especially since the auto sector in Pakistan suffered a huge loss due to the coronavirus lockdown and it will take a while for the companies to recover and move forward accordingly.
