The total number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan have surged to 125,428 while the country’s death toll has reached 2,459. There were 6,209 more cases reported on Thursday (11 June 2020) along with a total of 108 more fatalities from across the country. This is the highest reported death toll in a single day.
Sindh reported 38 more fatalities according to the coronavirus update by Provincial Health and Population Department. This brings the provincial death toll to 776 while total cases in Sindh have reached 46,828.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department reported 13 more fatalities bringing the provincial death toll to 632 while total cases in the province have reached 15,787.
Punjab reported 49 more fatalities bringing provincial death toll to 890. This is according to the report issued by the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA). Total number of coronavirus cases have reached 47,382.
Balochistan reported two more fatalities bringing the confirmed provincial death toll to 75 while the probable death toll has remains at 57. The number of cases in the province have reached 7,673 according to the Daily Situation Report issued by the Balochistan Health Department.
Islamabad reported five new fatalities reported according to the District Health Office Islamabad. The death toll of the capital city reaches at 62 while number of cases have reached 6,240 after 277 new cases were reported 11 June 2020 after yesterday’s 5,963 cases. The following is the distribution of cases across the city.
Gilgit Baltistan report one more fatality according to the Daily Situation Report issued by the GB Health Department. This brings the regional death toll to 15 while number of cases have reached 1,030.
No more fatalities were reported from Azad Jammu and Kashmir keeping the death toll at nine while number of coronavirus cases have reached 488 according to the Government of Pakistan’s COVID-19 Dashboard.
