The total number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan have surged to 148,617 while the country’s death toll has reached 2,834. There were 4,817 more cases reported on Monday (15 June 2020) along with a total of 10 more fatalities from across the country.
Sindh reported 22 more fatalities according to the coronavirus update by Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah. This brings the provincial death toll to 853 while total cases in Sindh have reached 55,581.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department reported 32 more fatalities bringing the provincial death toll to 707 while total cases in the province have reached 18,472 according to their daily COVID-19 update.
PUNJAB reports 50 more fatalities in one day bringing the provincial death toll to 1,081 according to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA). The total coronavirus cases in the province have reached 55,878.
Balochistan reported no new fatalities keeping the confirmed provincial death toll to 85 while the probable death toll remains at 58. The number of cases in the province have reached 8,327 according to the Daily Situation Report issued by the Balochistan Health Department.
Islamabad reported three new fatalities according to the District Health Office Islamabad. The death toll of the capital city reaches at 78 while number of cases have reached 8,569. The following is the distribution of cases across the city.
Gilgit Baltistan reported one new fatality according to the Daily Situation Reported issued by the GB Health Department. This brings the regional death toll to 17. Furthermore, the total positive cases in the region have reached 1,143.
One more fatality was reported from Azad Jammu and Kashmir bringing the death toll to 13 while number of coronavirus cases have reached 647 according to the Government of Pakistan’s COVID-19 Dashboard.
