KARACHI: The Deputy Commissioner Karachi west issued the notification of the areas to be placed under ‘Smart lockdown’ as suggested by Health Department Sindh.
The increasing number of Coronavirus cases (COVID-19) has been identified by the Health Department and suggested to lockdown the unnecessary movement of the public to restrict the spread of the virus.
The Commissioner Karachi issued the notification stating that “The District Health officers, Karachi west has requested that it has been observed concerned that the number of COVID-19 cases are rising in District Karachi West. Hence it is recommended that the unnecessary movement of the public may be restricted to contain the further spread in the hotspots mentioned under.
SMART LOCKDOWN ANNOUNCED: Commissioner Karachi has announced smart lockdown in selected areas of Karachi for two weeks. The lockdown will start from 07:00pm on Thursday (today). The areas for smart lockdown are divided into six districts of Karachi, find names of areas under their districts below in pictures;
