The total number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan have surged to 198,617 while the country’s death toll has reached 4,031 across the country. There were 3,971 more cases reported on Friday (26 June 2020) along with 73 more fatalities.
Sindh reported 27 more fatalities according to the coronavirus update by Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah. This brings the provincial death toll to 1,205 while total cases in Sindh have reached 76,318.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department reported 11 more fatalities bringing the provincial death toll to 890 while total cases in the province have reached 24,943 according to their daily COVID-19 update.
Punjab reported 27 more fatalities according to the Primary Healthcare Department Punjab. This brings the provincial death toll to 1,656 while number of cases have reached 72,880 in their daily coronavirus update.
Balochistan reported four new fatalities bringing the confirmed provincial death toll to 113 while the probable death toll has remains 75. The number of cases in the province have reached 10,116 according to the Daily Situation Report issued by the Balochistan Health Department.
Balochistan spokesperson Liaquat Shahwani also tweeted about the coronavirus update.
Islamabad reported four new fatalities according to the District Health Office Islamabad. The death toll of the capital city reaches 119 while number of cases have reached 11,981. The following is the distribution of cases across Islamabad.
Gilgit Baltistan reported no new fatalities according to the Daily Situation Report issued by the GB Health Department. This keeps the regional death toll at 23 while number of cases have reached 1,417.
No new fatalities was reported from Azad Jammu and Kashmir keeping the death toll at 25 while number of coronavirus cases have reached 962 according to the Government of Pakistan’s COVID-19 Dashboard.
