ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony will start the Hajj 2020 refund process from 2 July 2020 according to a spokesperson of the Ministry.
The Hajj 2020 refunds will be processed through designated banks across the country and applicants will be informed through SMS about when to receive their refund.
According to the spokesperson everyone will receive their refund through cash at the designated banks while group leaders will need to need to appear at the bank with all original documents in case of receiving the refund payment through cheque.

Hajj 2020 will be performed by a limited number of pilgrims this year which include only those residing wihin Saudi Arabia due to the coronavirus pandemic as the government stated that the health of the people was the top priority.
