The Ehsaas Langar Program has been setup at the Haji Camp area of Peshawar providing free food two time a day to needy and travelers. The langar was set up and started operating on 25 June 2020 and aims to provide food to 1,200 people a day.
According to the Ehsaas official Twitter account, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Social Security and Poverty Alleviation Dr Sania Nishtar along with Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mehmood Khan, Chief Secretary KP and the Chairman of the Saylani Welfare Trust were present at the launch of the Ehsaas Langar Program in Peshawar.
The Ehsaas Langar has been setup in the most busiest area of Pehsawar which is the Haji Camp area to provide food twice daily to 1,200 people daily which will include laborers and even travelers.
The Government is working together with the Saylani Welfare Trust for the Ehsaas Langar Program that started operation in Peshawar. Saylani Group also started the Ehsaas Langar on Wheels initiative in Lahore providing food to quarantine centers during the start of the coronavirus pandemic in the country.
