LAHORE: Fast University is now taking action against students for making fun of the institution and their teachers on social media sharing several memes.
A disciplinary notice has gone viral on social media that was issued by Fast University to students stating their punishments which include lowered grades, temporary expulsion and the institute has even threatened to cancel degrees of some students.

According to the disciplinary notice, thirteen students have been told to write an apology post on their Facebook timeline within 10 days of the issuance of the notice.
The university has also taken individual action against some students by expelling them for the Fall 2020 Semester and lowering their grades.
In certain cases the university has given students one hour of community service where they are required to remove litter from campus lawns and highway walkways after the opening of campus for a period of 4 weeks.
Failure to comply will result in action being taken against the students which may include cancellation of degree of the student being black listed. Fast University may also take action by reporting students to cyber crime for bullying and harassment.
According to students, it was a normal practice to crack jokes however, the university is being unreasonable taking such extreme measures. Although, the university has given students 15 days to file for an appeal against the decision.
