KARACHI: Although Karachi rain made the weather in the port city a bit pleasant, it has also caused a lot of damage including the loss of human life and power outages in several parts of the city.
According to a report by Geo News, at least two people have died from electrocution including a police officer as roads of the city remained flooded with water.

There were power outages experienced all throughout the city as soon as the rain hit and some areas reported to have remained without power till Saturday morning even after K Electric claims to have carried out required maintenance ahead of the monsoon rain spells.
Power outages were reported in several areas that include Manzoor Colony, Model Colony, Defence Housing Authority (DHA), Clifton, Baldia Town, Orangi Town, Korangi, Kahtore, Shah Faisal Colony, Lines Area and several other areas.
According to the Met Department the Karachi rain is said to continue later today. The following tweets show the condition of Karachi after rain in the port city.
