ISLAMABAD: The Administration of Islamabad has banned any cattle markets from operating inside the city limits according to a notification issued by the District Magistrate Office.
According to the notification, Deputy Commissioner Hamza Shafqaat has taken notice of an influx of animals being brought to the sectorial areas of Islamabad for the purpose of setting up cattle markets.
However, the Deputy Commissioner has prohibited any sale, purchase and movement of sacrificial animals within city limits stating that Cattle markets in Islamabad are to be setup in designated areas proposed by the Capital Development Authority (CDA).
