ISLAMABAD: Petrol prices in Pakistan have been increased starting midnight 1 August 2020 after the Federal Government approved the increase following the recommendation by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).
Although OGRA recommended higher increases, Petrol prices in the country are going to increase by Rs. 3.86 per litre while high speed diesel (HSD) will see an increase of Rs. 5.00 per litre.
Price of Kerosene oil is also being increased by Rs. 5.97 while light speed diesel (LDO) will see an increase of Rs. 6.62.

This increase in Petrol Prices will go into effect from tonight 12:00AM, 1 August 2020.
Furthermore, the Economic Coorindation Committee earlier decided that petroleum prices will now be revised on a 15 days basis instead of one month.
