Sara Khan & Imran Ashraf pair up for drama Raqs-e-Bismil

The newly wed Pakistani actress Sara Khan and talented Imran Ashraf have paired up for new drama serial Raqs-e-Bismil, which has the audience overjoyed as it features these two highly admired actors of the Pakistani showbiz industry.

The screenplay was announced by Shazia Wajahat on her Instagram post. She wrote, “Gearing up for an exciting new project 📺..Super excited to work with an amazing cast .😍..will share details soon.”

About Raqs-e-Bismil starring Sara Khan & Imran Ashraf:

Pakistani dramas are moving a step ahead from the typical love triangles and family disputations. From the recent and on-going serials, it is obvious the directors and writers are more focused on morals and deep storylines, conveying a powerful message with their projects.

Likewise, as unveiled by the producer Shazia Wajahat, “Raqs-e-Bismil is an intense story of love and passion between two souls from different worlds.”

The screenplay has been directed by Wajahat Rauf, who is known for his romantic comedy movies. His successful projects include Karachi se Lahore, Lahore se Aagay and Challawa to name a few.

Furthermore, Raqs-e-Bismil also marks the television screen comeback of Wajahat’s directorial after the halt of 3 years.

The script of this light-hearted show has been penned down by Hashim Nadeem of ‘Khuda Aur Mhabbat’ fame. Moreover, the drama is a joint production of Momina Duraid and Shazia Wajahat and will air from Hum-TV.

The airing date and month is not yet revealed, however Shazia Wajahat gave an insight about the extensive shooting period the drama will go-through. She also mentioned it is likely to be released at the end of this year.
