KARACHI WEATHER UPDATE: Another spell of monsoon rain is expected in Karachi and parts of Sindh from Friday (14 August) till Sunday (16 August) according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department.
According to a press release issued by the spokesperson of the Pakistan Meteorological Department, scattered rain and thundershowers with few isolated heavy falls are expected in Karachi and other parts of Sindh.

The areas expected to receive rain in Sindh include Karachi, Hyderabad, Thatha, Badin, Shaheed Benazirabad, Tharparkar, Mirpurkhas, Umar Kot, Sangarh and Mithi.
Previously rain in Karachi left several people dead due to causes such as electrocution from poor K-Electric infrastructure. Most of the city was disrupted with urban flooding and damages to private properties including homes and vehicles.
