An Instagram post made by Hasan Khan about his upcoming project, a biopic of deceased Indian actor Sushant Singh Rajput, has taken Indian fans by storm and has ignited new ‘India-Pakistan’ debate on social media.
Hasan Khan, known for his role in drama serial “Soteli Mamta,” posted a collaged picture of renowned late Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput and himself with a caption,
“Alhamdulillah got a project which is really close to my heart, playing @sushantsinghrajput ‘s character for Indian Web..”
Hasan’s announcement set Indian media on fire as they accused the innocent Pakistani actor of spreading fake news. Indians claimed Hasan made an absurd declaration and there’s no such approaching project.
One of the Indian news pages reported, “It’s all in the air right now. No idea why he (Hasan Khan) tweeted about playing Sushant Singh Rajput.”
However, Hasan’s latest details on the matter have turned the tables for the poor Indians.

Details from Hasan Khan
Hasan Khan’s previous Instagram caption mentioned the film to be aired from streaming service Amazon Prime Video. Nevertheless, when the conspiracy rose to fame, the digital platform put forward an official statement, denying any movie or documentary being processed, that too with a Pakistani actor.
“Amazon Prime Video has not commissioned or licensed any project on the late Sushant Singh Rajput with actor Hasan Khan or for that matter with anyone else.” – Reads their official statement.
Moreover, Hasan Khan when questioned about the whole on-going argument set-forth his side of the story.
According to Hasan, the approaching movie is a short Pakistani film, made on the life story of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, directed by Mohammad Mussavir and produced by an Indian producer, Raj Gupta, Additionally, the movie is wrapped with its shooting and is expected to premiere in a couple of weeks.
Furthermore, Hasan Khan also mentioned the movie was supposed to be aired from Amazon Prime; however the digital web backed out from the contract, after facing criticism from Sushant’s fans. Nonetheless, the short documentary will be aired from the producer’s own channel namely ‘Imperfect Movies.’
Hasan also shared some behind the scenes pictures on his Instagram profile, justifying his statement.
