MANSEHRA: All tourist hotspots in Naran, Kaghan and Shogran have been sealed by Mansehra district authorities after staff working at different establishments tested positive for the coronavirus.
According to Dawn, over 47 cases of coronavirus were reported from private hotels at these tourist hotspots which have now been sealed to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

The Mansehra Additional Deputy Commissioner Maqbool Hussain told the media outlet that 48 hotels and 22 businesses along with their respective branches at these tourist hotposts in Naran, Kaghan and Shogran have been sealed.
However, there is no information regarding the duration of the lockdown for hotels and businesses in the area but according to the Mansehra Additional Deputy Commissioner, they would only be allowed to open once the situation had been brought under control.
Furthermore, arrangements have been made for those tested positive to be quarantined at the hotels while officials worked to trace everyone who had some into contact with these patients.
The Kaghan Development Authority (KDA) also issued a notification the Deputy Commissioner Mansehra informing him that five restaurants and hotels in Naran had been sealed after staff tested positive for coronavirus.
A complaint has been lodged in at the police post in Naran for registration of a First Information Report (FIR) but action is yet to be taken in this regard by the appropriate authorities.
However, according to the notification, these businesses reopened against orders which may cause further spread of the virus therefore the Kaghan Development Authority (KDA) has proposed a smart lockdown on these hotels and restaurants.
