ISLAMABAD: Authorities have sealed 22 educational institutes across the country for violation of standard operating procedures (SOPS) issued by the government according to the National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC).
According to a statement issued by the National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC), “During the last 48 hours, 22 educational institutions across Pakistan have been closed due to non-compliance of health SOPs/protocols and disease prevalence,”

These educational institutes have been sealed within a 48 hour period of reopening after remaining closed since March as a precautionary measure to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
According to the NCOC, 16 educational institutes have been sealed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, five in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJ&K) while one in the federal capital.
Earlier, a major educational institute was closed in Islamabad after 16 staff members tested positive the day of the opening.
