The HTC Desire 601 the most desired mid-range smartphone wrapped off , the first phone from the company’s mid-market Android phones to feature LTE connectivity.
HTC Desire 601 has a 4.5-inch display, a dual-core processor, LTE connectivity, and a 5-megapixel camera, all wrapped up in a body that’s taken design cues from its big brother. HTC hasn’t announced pricing or availability yet, but the 601 is being touted as “affordable,” so don’t expect to pay the big bucks for it.

The HTC Desire 601 will include the Blink Feed homepage, as first introduced on the HTC One, and will also feature the same dual front speakers and the ability to capture a ‘Zoe’ – HTC’s term for a series of stills and a short video clip that are captured at the same time.
The new handset will be available in black, white and red. The red version of the HTC One has proved particularly popular and new ‘Vivid Blue’ versions of both the HTC One and One Mini have also just been unveiled). The finish on the 601’s chassis is smooth and comfortable to hold, without being too slippery.
The new HTC Desire 601 will be available with mobile operators and major retailers in select markets across EMEA from September 2013.
