Infinix Zero 2 Complete Review

Here’s the story of Infinix Zero 2 – Asad Shaikh INCPak Forum member bought it yesterday and we been exploring this device so for a better review. Zero 2 having MTK6592 Turbo octa-core chipset clocking at 2.0 Ghz, combined with a Mali 450-MP4 graphic chipset sounds promising, but Antutu Benchmark Score Result tells a different story like Innjoo Note Pro earlier I reviewed.

Display

Corning Gorilla glass 3, scratch damages and screen failure had been diminished by 40% from last era. 3rd Generation of Corning Gorilla is certified NDR (Native Damage Resistant), offering superior screen surface quality for just 0.55 mm thickness.

5.0 inches Samsung Super AMOLED Display including HD 720 X 1280 resolution (294 ppi) but minus the on-screen buttons which makes it nearly 4.8 Inches viewable screen, Infinix fellas wasted lot of space take a look at the image below you will see a lot of space wasted on-screen buttons which drags home screen Icons up really look odd to me.

Infinix fellas used Samsung’s Display and Camera.

Camera’s origin is Samsung so obviously expect the good result, although these days LED flash comes in front camera as well, meanwhile Infinix Zero 2 don’t have it.

Front Camera 5 Megapixel

Let’s talk about a little technical over here, Infinix Zero 2 shows symptom of Fever ( HeatUp issue )  Test video recorded for 5 minutes, before video Temperature was 37C and after 5 minutes it jumped 10C  to 47C which means processor gets the fever and it is likely that it might get more intense.

The Story Of Antutu Benchmark

The Story I shared a bit earlier, OFF DATA CONNECTION and will show you different result and while Connected 3G or WiFi differs.

I don’t have much information about the battery juice but 2300 mAh running Kitkat 4.4 will give you average time, Infinix Zero 2 expecting Lollipop Update soon.

Infinix Zero 2

Pros

  • Display is good
  • Built Quality
  • Camera result satisfying
  • Internal Storage
  • Updates Yes
  • Dual Speakers lower portion

Cons

  •  On-Screen Buttons
  • No Front Camera LED
  • Low Benchmark  ( Although no reports of Phone Lagging so far )
  • Average battery backup 2300 mAh
  • Non removable battery
  • NO 4G LTE

Verdict : Infinix Zero 2 available only from daraz.pk for Rs.  18,900 totally worth it because if we compare Brand new smartphone with similar specs I think you won’t get 32 GB Internal storage, The built quality which is too good Infinix Zero 2 survived Drop test without any damage. The Texture design makes it more appealing however personally On-screen buttons and wasted space below looks odd to me, rest of the specs are all good.

Farhan Abro

Hello! My name is Farhan Abro, and I'm based here in Islamabad. My journey in Pakistan's digital media really kicked off when I founded INCPak back in 2012. We built it from the ground up, driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, to be a trusted voice for independent journalism. But while media is a big part of who I am, I'm also shaped by a fascinating mix of other passions. I'm deeply into automotive, which gives me a technical edge, but I also find my artistic expression through landscape photography and music. And I'm always diving into the exciting world of Artificial Intelligence. Bringing all these different worlds together the technical, the creative, the journalistic, and the entrepreneurial—it really colors how I see things and approach every project. It gives me a distinct perspective that I try to bring to everything I share
