KARACHI – Seven persons were injured in a blast at Khawaja Ajmer Nagri police headquarter in Karachi on Sunday morning, a private TV channel reported.
The injured include policemen and recruits who were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medical aid where two policemen were being reported critical.
According to the latest reports, the police station was targeted by unknown bike riders who hurled hand grenades at the station. Preliminary investigation reveals that the grenades thrown at the station were made in Russia.
In two other incidents, two people were injured in a shooting at Jahangir Road while one person was shot and two were injured in an exchange of gunfire at Garden area of Karachi.
