No cellular service in Lahore on Eid Miladun Nabi

All mobile networks will remain closed on Friday from 8am to 8 pm. The closure is due to security concerns on the day of Eid Miladun Nabi.

Areas surrounding Minar-e-Pakistan will have no coverage from tonight whereas all other areas in Lahore will have no coverage 8am onwards.

Security has been increased in different areas in the city where processions will be held. The Interior ministry claims that terrorist use mobile phones as triggering devices for explosives.
