Rivo Phantom PZ15 ” Hands on Review “

Talk of the town Rivo mobile launched various smartphones in Pakistani mobile market, Rivo’s flagship smartphone is Rivo Phantom PZ15 , Octa-core 1.7 Ghz, 2 GB Ram, 5 Inch display, 13 Mega pixel rear and 5 Mega pixel front camera with 16 GB Internal Storage, Last week I got the chance to review this smart phone here’s My hands on Rivo Phantom PZ15 experience.

Built Quality

Sleek & Slim design Rivo Phantom PZ15 reminds me of Qmobile Noir A900, Built Quality is good, holding this smartphone in your hand makes you feel good. You cannot remove the battery ( still in doubt ) because the SIMs slot and SD card slot is given on the side.

Camera Result

I had my Qmobile Noir i9 with me when I was testing Rivo Phantom PZ15, frankly I didn’t liked the result when I compared with Qmobile Noir i9 ( 8 Mega Pixel ) possibility is, Noir i9’s display is pretty whitish and Phantom PZ15’s a bit yellowish. Indoor camera tested at night  No day time result hopefully will post when I receive Snaps.

Video Recording 

Video recording quality is HD, while you are recording video you can take snaps easily, useful feature I am not sure about Qmobile X800 and X900 Camera app but Qmobile Noir i9 didn’t had this feature.

Internal Storage 

Snaps gives you better idea about how the partition is.

Battery ( Non Removable ) 

2000 mAh , Uptil now I’ve used it for 5 hours and from 100% to 38% battery drained, possibility is because WiFi active and recorded Video with LED Flash on for 30 mins.

Not upto the mark –  Confused about timing.

Camera

Average 13 MP camera, Not some bazooka result.

Faree’s Verdict :-

Rivo Phantom PZ15 has MediaTek MT6592 processor which means, It can be rooted easily, unlike Qualcomm Smarties. Overall Phone has it’s own style and quality to compete with it’s rival Qmobile Noir X900, Personally not reviewed X900 so I can’t say anything about it yet.

3G works fine, both are micro sims and 2 GB Ram makes the phone easy to handle heavy apps and games, No heat up issue noticed while reviewing it, like QMobile Noir i9. Rear Camera LED Flash is pretty good ( Camera result hopefully share soon )

If you are looking for something OFF QMOBILE !! Go for it… Life is all about experiencing different Rivo gives you a chance to step out of Q Zone and experience brand new MTK processor smartphone.
