So, here is the major comparison between top class phones Samsung Galaxy S4 , HTC One & Sony Xperia Z .
Design: All three phones have different styles and built quality . Samsung G S4 has a old look, like its preceding phones and cheap built quality ( poly carbonate / plasticy feel in hand ) but with the lightest weight .
Xperia Z has a sleek and smart design . It also have a plastic shell at the back, but there’s a fairly good reason for this that the Xperia Z is both waterproof and dustproof, with seals around each port to stop water and other nasty stuff affecting the use of your new smartphone.
HTC One with the its full aluminium shell It’s something of a masterpiece in terms of design , but the aluminium isn’t as durable as plastic .
Performance : performance wise all phones have almost similar specs quad-core chips, 2GB ram and big internal storage. The Samsung G S4 have th latest Android versin 4.2.2 while other have a slightly old version 4.1.2 .
Bechmarks :
- HTC One on the top with 22662 score
- Samsung on second position with 22626 score
- Sony xperia Z with the 17372 score on third
Features :
Xperia Z with Smart Connect and the Xperia . Link Smart Connect lets you set an ‘event’, be it plugging in the charger, entering a location or even a time of day, and sets the phone to do something automatically. while the Xperia Link allows you to use the phone’s internet connection to other devices. That’s a familiar feature, but you can remotely set it to function from another device, without having to dig it out of the pocket on a commute. Nice.
Samsung Galaxy S4 with a whole heap of ‘innovation’ on board. Be it scrolling with your eyes, waving your hand over the phone to move through photos or internet pages or just keeping track of your peepers to maintain screen brightness, there’s a lot going on here.
The One has loads of filler features: be it the UltraPixel camera that can take low light pictures, the BoomSound microphones that prevent distortion when recording at high volume, or the simple user interface, there’s a lot here to love.
Camera :
Big difference between the three S4 and xperia z with 13 mp sensor while Htc one having 4 ultra pixel camera. Its hard to make judgement between these phones Samsung n Sony perfect shots with high resolution while Htc one have lesser resolution but takes excellent low-light snaps.
Overall the HTC One is best for day to day shooting, which is really important on a camera phone, but it really depends on what you’re intending to use your phone for.
Durability: can be judged by the videos

Overall All phones are good Xperia really crisp screen, the waterproof shell, a strong effort at making usable media apps and a quad core processor under the hood.
This is Samsung’s best phone ever, without a doubt. But a old design like S3 although it has powerful processor, 13 mp camera but looks like big brother of S3 :)
The One is a masterpiece from HTC. The build quality is superb with the BoomSound, Ultrapixels and Htc new Sense 5.
Our judgement
- HTC ONE on top
- Sony & Samsung on second position.
HTC One has no Memory card support. Fix the table please. And Xperia Z scores more than 20,000 in Antutu. Please check on GSM Arena review of Xperia Z.
