Zopo C2 with Aliyun OS : Android-based OS is now back with a handful of new devices courtesy of some local friends, with the most notable device coming from Zopo, a notorious cloner of Samsung, HTC and LG phones. There’s a 5-inch 1080p gapless LTPS display, a MediaTek MT6589 chip (1.2GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 processor with 1GB RAM and PowerVR SGX544 graphics), 4GB internal storage with microSD expansion, Yamaha audio chip, a removable 2,000mAh battery and WCDMA 850/2100 radio with HSPA+ . Furthermore, not only is there a 13-megapixel f/2.2 main camera, but there’s also a staggering 5-megapixel front-facing camera on the other side.
Pantech Vega Iron : With Pantech on the rise in not only South Korea but here in the USA as well, it’s only a little surprising to find them teasing their next-generation smartphone “Vega Iron” with a processor more powerful than the GALAXY S 4 and with “zero bezel”.The bezels aren’t quite zero, but they are small, just 2.4mm across on each side.Under the hood it’s suggested that the Pantech Vega Iron will be bringing a massive 5-inch display with 720 pixel resolution. This beast is said to be powered by a rather big 2150mAh battery while it features a 13 megapixel camera on its back , include a quad-core 1.7GHz Snapdragon 600 processor & a 2GB bit of RAM to back it all up. expected to come on April 18.
HTC 606 w : If you’re a fan of HTC smartphones but can’t see yourself paying the money for something along the lines of the HTC One, a new mid range device has leaked online that you may find interesting. A few specifications and some images of the device said to be the HTC 606w have surfaced. The device looks similar to the HTC One, but uses cheaper components which should mean it’s a cheaper smartphone. On front it has a pair of stereo speakers (aka BoomSound as it’s marketed as for the One). The rest of this Android 4.1.2 phone is a bit of a mix: there’s a 4.5-inch 960 x 540 display, a quad-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB RAM, an 8-megapixel main camera (so not UltraPixel), a 1.6-megapixel front-facing camera, WCDMA radio and microSD expansion. As always, we’ll keep an eye out for the 606w’s official announcement.
