KARACHI: Notorious gangster Uzair Baloch is reportedly in the custody of intelligence agencies (IAs) in Peshawar, a private TVchannel reported citing sources. The TV channel quoted sources as saying that Uzair Baloch is currently held under custody at a triple-story building in Peshawar.
According to the TV channel, a video statement of Uzair has also been recorded, in which Baloch confessed to have ‘killed two witnesses of the Benazir Bhutto (BB) murder case; one namely Khalid Shehensha’. Apart from this, he also confessed his involvement in money-laundering, racketeering, land grabbing and other crimes. Uzair Baloch reportedly named two ministers from whom he used to take directives.
It said the confessional statement comprises a 48-minute video, which has been forwarded to the interior minister. Quoting sources, the TV channel said the Sindh government did not want Uzair to be deported to Pakistan, but an intelligence agency made it possible.
