Although many rumors placed the launch of the Apple Electric Car between 2023 and 2025, some sources now claim that the company might be planning according to Taiwan’s Economic Daily Times.
There are also reports of the upcoming electric vehicle currently being tested by the Cupertino-based giant in California, however, everything at this point is still a rumor with no official confirmations of any kind.
According to the details provided by the media outlet, the unnamed sources said that production of components for the Apple Electric Car are said to hit full throttle by the second quarter of 2021 with an official launch planned for September of the same year.
There have been other reports circulating according to MacRumors claiming that that Apple has been negotiating with automotive electronics suppliers as well as working with its chipmaking partner TSMC at developing a “self-driving chip”
There have been multiple reports regarding the subject with some claiming that Apple is developing an electric car while others say that the company is simply working on artificial intelligence and autonomous driving technologies for vehicles in general.
However, it is still too early to determine what the company is planning and even if it plans to launch a electric vehicle it is certainly not going to be during 2021, especially after the pandemic slowed everything down.
