Atlas Honda, Pakistan largest motorcycle manufacturer, has unveiled its first-ever electric scooter in Pakistan – Honda BENLEY e – at a ceremony in Sheikhupura on Tuesday.
During the event, Noriaki Abe, the Chief Officer of Motorcycle and Power Products at Atlas Honda, announced that the Honda BENLY e will undergo test marketing. He further mentioned that the introduction of new products will be guided by this market feedback, ensuring that customers receive the finest offerings from Honda.
This will be a big step for Atlas Honda as it will be the company’s first electric scooter in Pakistan. It is pertinent to mention that a number of companies, including Road Prince, United, and Metro, have introduced their e-scooters in Pakistan, taking advantage rising fuel prices and price of conventional motorcycles.
Honda BENLEY e Specifications and Features
Atlas Honda has yet to disclose specific details about their electric scooter; however, insights can be gleaned from the international version of the Honda BENLEY e. According to the available specifications of the BENLEY e on the global market, the electric scooter provides a range of up to 87 kilometers, requires 180 minutes for a full charge, and boasts a top speed of 45 km/h.
Price
Atlas Honda has not disclosed the pricing details for the Honda BENLEY e in Pakistan, and this is understandable as the electric scooter is still in the testing phase. The launch date and pricing will be determined based on the outcomes of the testing process and user feedback.
