Fact Check – Kia Has Not Reduced Car Prices From October 28

Kia Lucky Motor Corporation (KLMC) has clarified that it has not reduced car prices in Pakistan from October 28 and the notification circulating on social media is fake.

Taking to Facebook, Kia Motors Pakistan stated, “We would like to inform all our Kia customers that there has been a fake notification showing price changes effective 28th October 2023 circulating across social media.”

Furthermore, the company urged customers to “only visit Kia Motors Pakistan’s verified page for latest updates and authentic information pertaining to price, policy, and all other matters.”

It is pertinent to mention that Kia Pakistan has already reduced prices effective 6th October 2023 and the company was actually the first to announce the price revision in light of the Pakistani Rupee (PKR) appreciation against the US Dollar (USD).
