Engine and Transmission
The higher-end variant of the 6th Generation Honda City is equipped with a 1.5L (1497cc) engine, which is capable of producing an impressive 118 horsepower and 145Nm of torque while mated with a Constant Variable Transmission (CVT) system.
The Toyota Yaris on the other hand is equipped with a similar 1.5L (1496cc) engine which produces a slightly lower 106 horsepower and 140Nm of torque with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) system.

Dimensions
The new Honda City 2021 stands at 4441mm in length, 1694mm in width and 1489mm in height while the Toyota Yaris is slightly smaller with a length of 4425mm while standing slightly wider at 1730mm with a height of 1475mm. However, this is just a miniscule difference between both these vehicles and doesn’t actually make any difference when it comes to practicality.
Wheels
The 6th Generation Honda City and the Toyota Yaris both offer 15-inches Alloy wheels standard with the top-of-the-line variants. However, the spare provided is a 15-inch steel wheel for both these vehicles.
Headlamps, DRLs and Rear Lights
Both of these sedan cars offer halogen headlamps with Day-time Running Lights (DRLs).
However, the Toyota Yaris is equipped with LED rear lights while the new Honda City 2021 has halogen rear lights.
Side Mirrors
The 6th Generation Honda City has electric automatic retractable side mirrors while this feature is missing in the Toyota Yaris.

The new Honda City 2021 has a 9-inch infotainment touchscreen in the Aspire variants and a 7-inch touchscreen in the non-Aspire variants. However, the Toyota Yaris only has a 6.8-inch infotainment touchscreen in the top-of-the-line variant, making it significantly smaller compared to the Honda City.
Steering Wheel
The 6th Generation Honda City 2021 and the Toyota Yaris both have electronic power steering with multimedia buttons. However, the Honda City has a ‘Tilt and Telescope’ steering wheel while the Toyota Yaris only has the ‘Tilt’ option.
Push Start
Both top-of-the-line variants are equipped with push start feature.
