Honda Global has launched the much-awaited Honda City 2023 Facelift version and added several safety features to one of its most popular subcompact sedan in the global market, which is unlikely for a facelift model.
Engine and Transmission
The Honda City 2023 Facelift continues to boasts the same 1.5L i-VTEC engine that is capable of producing 119 horsepower (hp) and 145 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque, while mated with a 6-speed manual or a Constant Variable Transmission (CVT) system.
Meanwhile, there’s also a hybrid model that gives a power output of 124 horsepower (hp) and 253 Newton-meters Nm of torque. However, it must be noted that Honda has kept the engine options the same for a long time.
Exterior
As mentioned earlier, the exterior of the Honda City 2023 Facelift mostly remains unchanged except a few minor upgrades, including the front grille, bumpers, wheel design, and additional color options.
The rear bumper comes with a car-wrapped diffuser and joint with a body colored trunk lip spoiler. Meanwhile, the wheels have been upgraded to a 16-inch alloys with a dual-tone diamond cut multi-spoke design.
Interior
The vehicle’s interior did not see any major changes, which is always the case with a Facelift model. However, the top-of-the-line variant includes minor upgrades like a new instrument cluster, which adapts to Honda Civic V’s partially digital display and shows more information to the driver.
However, the lower-spec versions of the Honda City 2023 Facelift will continue to come with the old instrument cluster.
