Hyundai Nishat Motor (Private) Limited has announced another massive hike in car prices in Pakistan for the second time during the last five days without citing any valid reason behind the decision.
It is pertinent to mention that Hyundai Pakistan had previously raised car prices in Pakistan a few days ago due to Federal Government’s decision to increase the General Sales Tax from 18% to 25% on all SUVs, CUVs, and vehicles having engine capacity of 1400cc or above.
According to the details, Hyundai Pakistan has raised car prices by up to Rs. 750,000 depending on the model, which brings the company’s cheapest sedan to Rs. 6.6 million, which has almost doubled since its launch a few years ago.
The new Hyundai Car Prices in Pakistan have gone into effect from 17th March 2023.
Hyundai Tucson Price in Pakistan
The new price of Hyundai Tucson GLS Sport (FWD) in Pakistan is now Rs. 8,230,000 after a hike of Rs. 200,000 from the old rate of Rs. 8,030,000, while the price of the higher-end Hyundai Tucson Ultimate (AWD) is now Rs. 8,859,000 from the old rate of Rs. 8,659,000 with an increase of Rs. 200,000.

The company has raised the price of Hyundai Elantra GL 1.6 in Pakistan to Rs. 6,599,000 from the old rate of Rs. 6,199,000 with an increase of Rs. 350,000, while the price of Hyundai Elantra GLS 2.0 has been raised to Rs. 7,130,000 after an increase of Rs. 381,000 from the old rate of Rs. 6,730,000.

Meanwhile, the new price of Hyundai Sonata 2.0 in Pakistan is now Rs. 10,329,000 from the old rate of Rs. 9,679,000 after an addition of Rs. 650,000, while the new price of Hyundai Sonata 2.5 is now Rs. 11,280,000 after an increase of Rs. 750,000 from the old rate of Rs. 10,530,000.
