Hyundai Nishat Motors has finally launched the much-awaited Hyundai Elantra in Pakistan at their official event held on social media due to the coronavirus pandemic. The company revealed the price of the Hyundai Elantra which is Rs. 4,049,000 and makes this sedan a very competitive option against the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla Altis, which have dominated the country for decades.
The company has introduced the 6th generation of the Hyundai Elantra in Pakistan. Hyundai Nishat Motors has only launched one variant of the sedan and so far there is no telling whether the company has any plans to introduce more options like its competitor.

Hyundai Elantra Price in Pakistan
he Hyundai Elantra Price in Pakistan is Rs. 4,049,000 which which puts this sedan up against the Toyota Corolla and Honda Civic which are priced similarly but offer less exciting features and specification, including a smaller engine. However, it is pertinent to mention that the vehicle is twice as expensive as another new entrant, the Changan Alsvin. Furthermore, the new sedan comes with a 4-year or 100,000km warranty, whichever happens to comes first for that extra peace of mind.
Engine and Transmission
The Hyundai Elantra is powered by a 2000cc or 2.0L inline 4-cylinder MPI Gasoline DOHC engine producing 154 horsepower (hp) and 195 Newton metres (Nm) of torque while mated with a 6-speed automatic transmission system with four different drive modes, including ECO, Smart, Sports and Normal.
It is pertinent to mention that this is the only sedan in Pakistan which is now offering a 2000cc option and priced competitively against the 1.8L Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla Altis.
