Hyundai Nishat Motors has finally announced the launch date for their much-awaited Hyundai Elantra in Pakistan, which is all set to take place at 8:00pm on 21 March 2021 (Sunday). The new sedan will go up against the Toyota Corolla Altis and the Honda Civic, two vehicles that have dominated this segment for years.
However, the company has not yet announced more details about the launch and whether it will be a physical or online event due to the ongoing pandemic but Hyundai Nishat Motors has promised that “this is no ordinary launch” in a social media post.

Hyundai Elantra Price In Pakistan
The Hyundai Elantra price in Pakistan is expected to be around Rs. 4 million as the vehicle plans to take on the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla Altis. However, the company has not yet revealed any more details about the sedan which is all set to launch on Sunday.
Engine and Transmission
There have been many reports regarding the specifications of the Hyundai Elantra and some sources now suggest that the sedan will be launched with a 2.0L engine which would produce 154 horsepower (hp) and 196 Newton metres (Nm) of torque. coupled with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
However, there were earlier reports which suggested that the vehicle will be powered by a 1.6L engine which produces 122 horsepower (hp) and 156 Newton meters (Nm) of torque and come with both a 6-speed manual and automatic transmission option.

It bears mentioning that these are just the expected features and specifications for the Hyundai Elantra and we will have to wait till Sunday for the official launch of the sedan in the local automotive sector.
