Hyundai Sonata Expected Price in Pakistan, CKD Unit Revealed

Hyundai Nishat has revealed the first Completely Knocked Down (CKD) unit of the Hyundai Sonata in Pakistan while automotive fans are busy discussing the expected price of the vehicle when it launches in the local market.

The Hyundai Sonata will go up against the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry, which are extremely popular in their category. It bears mentioning that Hyundai also released the Elantra to compete with the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla but the response was not as expected due to the higher price and lack of any additional features.

Hyundai Sonata Variants

According to PakWheels, the company plans on launching two variants of the Hyundai Sonata in Pakistan, which include two different engine options including a 2.5L engine which produces 191hp and 245Nm of torque while the other variant comes with a smaller 2.0L engine which produces 152hp and 192Nm of torque.

Both variants have the same features expect a few minor additions to the 2.5L engine option.

There is no official confirmation regarding the prices of these two variants. However, the Expected price of the Hyundai Sonata in Pakistan will be between Rs. 7 million to Rs. 9 million depending on the variant.
